Joe Guillory
TENOR | UTH MS-3 | Lake Charles, LA
Year joined: 2013
Bio:
Joe's journey begins in the greatest part of Louisiana, in the little city of Lake Charles, LA. He ventured into the verdant and prosperous land of Texas for his undergraduate career and medical training. He has been exposed to and learned much from the people called "Texans" and their higher education institutions; of note is that "Good ol' Baylor Line" filled with scholasticism and faith.
So when did music interject? Well, he is certain that his mother’s vocal challenges (can’t carry a tune) incited an adolescent, rebellious hunger that could not be satiated without the pursuit of vocal performance. Today, he remains on this path with many a tune in mind and, now, with wonderful people to sing alongside.
Music interests:
Not simply singing... but SANGIN'!
List of solos:
-
Adele/Weather Girls - Set fire to the rain/It’s rainin’ men (w/ Daniele)
-
OneRepublic - Counting stars
